  Now I am more familiar with how to add code to a template I could do it manually but I think your HitTail plugin is a better option or I might forget where to do it if I make changes.

  Can you please direct me to your site? I’ll take a look and see where it’s going wrong. It takes a while though for HitTail stats to start appearing – initially. If following your page-load, you can see the hittail tracking code executing (you can see it in your browsers status bar where it shows the pages being accessed) – then the stats are bound to appear for sure.
